"Esprit" is sponge cake that takes three days to make.
It is not unusual for customers to come from as far as outside of the prefecture for this cake. The cake, which is named after the store's name, is made by aging the sponge to bring out its flavor, ut
...ilizing the moisture in the cream, and transferring the aroma of the kirsch and the strawberry sandwiches to the dough. The key point in the manufacturing process is how to create a sense of unity in the overall aroma and texture. This is different from strawberry shortcake that is just sponge coated with whipped cream. If you put in the time and effort, strawberry sponge cake can be as delicious as this. The taste of cakes varies greatly depending on the temperature at the time of eating, so in order to provide the best possible conditions for customers to enjoy the cakes, we have opened a large coffee corner and have made the drinks for the cake set much cheaper than before.
