サツマイモが隠れた好物な私。
生のさつまいもを細切りにした芋けんぴが名物の薩摩芋菓子専門店があるという事を聞いて訪問。
本店は覚王山にあるが、名鉄百貨店地下にも販売コーナーあると聞いてそちらに伺う。
細切り芋けんぴ(吉芋花火)大学芋(べっ甲芋)をテイクアウト。
吉芋花火は生の薩摩芋を細切りにして菜種油で揚げて、自家製の蜜を塗ったものらしい。
パリっと香ばしくて、エグみのない味である。
べっ甲芋は胡麻や蜜の甘さも絡み、柔らかさもあり美味しい。当日中に食べる必要あり。
そんなの関係なしに、あっという間に食べ終わり、後味も悪くない。
