名古屋市中村区にあるチャイナバル「FARO 花楼（ファーロー）」。
こちらの「FARO 花楼」は、現時点で、食べログ点数3.49ながら、食べログ「名古屋市【中華料理】」ランキングにおいては、第76位である。
近くにある「かわせ」で牛タン定食を楽しんだ後に、2軒目ランチにて訪れた。
店は、地下鉄「国際センター駅」の南方面にある。駅からは歩いて、およそ5、6分ほどの距離。
店へ到着。そして、入店。平日の1321の時点で、店内の先客は5組ほど。テーブル席へ着席。
着席と同時に、「注文いいですか？」と尋ねられるスピード展開。メニューを確認。本日は「汁有り担々麺」を注文。900円（税込み）。ランチタイムサービスのライスとザーサイは、レジ横に置いてあり、セルフでの対応。

少し待った上で、レンゲが添えられた丼がやって来た。いざ実食。普通に美味しい担々麺を食べることに成功した。細麺系の一杯。なかなかに旨い、このスープは嬉しいもの。はからずも、十把一絡げにして捉えがちな料理ではあるが、店によって、多種多様な表情を見せ、それぞれ特徴が異なる点が面白い。「味で勝負」の意気込みを、感じられる店も多い。この系統が好みならば、きっと、時折、無性に食べたくなることだろう。シンプルな具材がのった、ボリューム十分の看板メニューを、じっくりと味わった。一方、無料サービスのライスは残念であったことを、書き記しておきたいと思う。
なお、昼の営業は、月曜日～金曜日の平日限定。土日祝には利用出来ない。このように、営業日が限られる「貴重なランチ」の体験に成功。退店後は、3軒目ランチとして、近くにある「ポロとワイン」へと向かった。
自分の気持ちに逆らうことなく、素直な感想で採点。特に不満は無い中、甘くもなく、厳しくもなく、ニュートラルな評価を実施。この業界の現状は、厳しい環境下ではあるが、これからの進化と発展に、期待をしている。もしかすると、また訪問することはあるのかもしれない。
