堀川沿いにある額縁店の中に入っている歴史あるカブトビールがいただけるお店、外観はワタクシにはまったく縁のない額縁のお店なので知らないと中にこんなお店が入っていることはまったく分からない隠れ家的なお店です。店内はカウンターとソファ席、それに堀川が真横に眺められるテラス席もありすごくオシャレな雰囲気の空間になっています。１６時台と早めの時間に入ったので先客は１組だけと落ち着いていました。
ドリンクは生カブトビールをメインにそのカブトビールを使ったビアカクテルを中心に、普通にワインやウイスキーなんかもあります。また、フードはお酒に合うおつまみをはじめ、アヒージョやカルパッチョ、ピザにパスタ、デザートなんかもありました。
この日は軽く一軒目としての利用だったのでフードはおつまみプレート３種盛りを、お酒はもちろん生カブトビールを注文です。
カブトビールは愛知県半田市の酒造メーカーで作られていたビールで明治、大正時代には東海地方で最大のシェアを誇っていたビール、平成の時代に復刻して半田などで飲むこともできるようになりましたが名古屋で生のカブトビールを飲めるのはココだけということです。
味の方はキレがあって苦みもしっかり感じられる濃厚な味わいで美味しいビールですね、おつまみと一緒に美味しくいただけました。
貴重なカブトビールが飲めるところもイイですが、それ以外でもすごくオシャレな雰囲気なイイお店だと思います、ごちそうさまでした。
