This is Coffee shops in Meichika, an underground shopping mall in Nagoya Station. Due to construction work on the linear train, the long-established underground shopping mall Meichika will be temporarily closed this spring. I was able to visit this shop, which I had been curious about but had not yet been to, just in time. The inside of the shop is a very ordinary long-established Coffee shops, but the pop-up in front of the Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) is very appealing in that you can drink. The attractive slogans such as "all-you-can-drink" and "happy hour" make it seem like an izakaya. Let's enjoy happy hour right away. Happy hour starts at 3pm on weekdays and beer and wine are 220 yen per glass, no matter how many glasses you drink. There is a wide selection of snacks such as pizza and Fried food that are typical of Coffee shops, so you can drink quite a lot. I gulped down beer and wine with mixed fries and fried chicken. It was surreal to see tourists munching on Ogura toast and ladies chatting away, but it was a place where you could drink. I hope to see you again after the linear train opens. Thank you for the meal.
