下の子の私用も午前中いっぱいで目処がついたので、予定時間よりも前倒しで入店させてもらった。当方は人気店ゆえに、とりわけ週末利用での事前予約は必至かと思われる。通されたのは2階席だったが、スタッフ方の介助のおかげで難なくクリア。
本日は始終下の子を連れているので油断ならないが、ひとまず焼肉店かつ個室ならば、遮蔽壁やら肉の焼けるオノマトペやらで上手く掻き消してくれるであろうことを期待して臨む子連れランチタイム。メニューは入店前に一通り目通ししていたので、即コールして「壺漬け焼肉ランチ(肉100g)」をオーダー。下の子が騒ぎ出す前に白米だけ先出してもらって、予め入手したパウチ離乳食でご機嫌取りをする予定がまさかの寝落ちという最高の結果に。
待つこと10分弱で、一式が到着。小ぶりな壺内で特製ダレに漬け込まれた赤身肉とタレ、大きめの茶碗にふんわりと盛られた白米、ミニサラダとスープが順に並べられた。お肉は大小様々な部位がブレンドされていて、良くも悪くもバラツキがあるが安価ゆえ仕方あるまい。
こんなにも呆気なく静かな1人ランチが叶うなんて思っても見なかったので、気負っていた分逆に拍子抜けしてしまったが勿論それに越したことはない。
かくして、下の子の寝息と、肉がもたらすジューシーなオノマトペが交錯する中で優雅に1人焼肉ランチを謳歌することが叶ったのは幸いだった。
