ここも前から気になっていた。例によってコインパ必須地域なのだが安くはないエリアのため名駅から歩いて来てみたら案外近かった。エリア的には店名の通り御園座にほど近く伏見や大須からも近い。
店内は明るく木を基調とした造り。一時過ぎに入ると店は空いており空いているテーブルに座りメニューを‥見ようと思ったらない。ここはランチタイムはイチボステーキセット950円税込のみ。なので注文を取ることもなくお水が出て来るのみ。
オーダーが決まっているためか提供も早い。まずスープが出て来てその後さほど待たずにライスとステーキの鉄板が登場。焼き方やライスのサイズは変更可能か聞いて見ないとわからないが特に聞かれることもなく出て来る。
カットされたイチボ肉が150グラム鉄板の中でジュージュー音を立てている。一緒に盛られた野菜のグリルもいい感じ。サラダだと肉と別々に食べる感じになるため個人的には同じ皿に乗っている方が好き。焼き方は表面しっかりと中はレアの基本に忠実なグリル。肉はスジもなく柔らかく美味しい。多分いい肉。
となると残念なのは最初からソースがかかっていて味が均一化されている事。これに尽きる。せっかくテーブルにミル式の黒胡椒と岩塩が置いてあるのでどうせならこれで食べてみたいと思った。その上でソースを別添えにしてくれれば言うことはないのだが。
値段と内容は妥当なもの。立地的にこれより安くは難しいと思う。今後も来る機会があるかもしれない。伏見御園座エリアは個性的で味のある店が多い。
