Nagoya Marunouchi Lunch Series No.38 This is a Nepalese curry restaurant. Choutari means a rest area in Nepalese. After entering the restaurant and passing through the glass entrance, you will find a large interior space at the back. For some reason, there was a sewing machine displayed at the entrance. A Nepalese musical film is being shown on the large screen. ・Daily Lunch 990 yen Today's daily curry is a shimeji mushroom and chicken curry. You can choose your naan. When asked how spicy you want it, I chose level 3, which is considered medium spicy out of 1 to 5. Soup and salad are self-service. In the salad corner, penne, cabbage, and namul are prepared on a large plate. It's Italian Cuisine and Korean Cuisine, so it's hard to imagine it being Nepalese Cuisine lol The soup is an egg soup with a hint of ginger. The naan is simple and plain, with no sweetness or other seasonings. Refills are free. The curry is mild. Is level 3 really that spicy? Just as I was thinking that, a punch of spiciness suddenly hit me halfway through. It was so spicy! Suddenly I started sweating profusely (^^;; It seemed the spices hadn't been mixed well. After stirring it well, it was definitely a level 3 spiciness (bitter laugh). It was a very tasty curry. Compared to other restaurants, there was a good selection of salads and soups, but the drinks were omitted to compensate. That's what I thought when I looked at the menu, but when I looked closely at the picture on the blackboard, I saw that lunch also came with a drink. Ah, what a disappointment! I messed up. Next time I'll make sure to check carefully before getting a drink too. Thank you for the meal.
