We came here to drink shochu at the after party of our department's year-end party at work. Our group of 12 was dispersed. The first glass was Aka Godai. Simmered dish- Aka Godai (on the rocks) - Edamame - Ei Hin - Fried Oyster - Boiled Pork with Yuzu Pepper - Tororo and Mentaiko (cod roe) Teppan-yaki- Zanba White (on the rocks) - Kume Sen (on the rocks) The first glass was Aka Godai. The first glass was Aka Godai. It is a sweetpotato shochu from Kagoshima. I thought it would have a strong aroma of sweetpotato, but it has a very clear taste. It tasted as clear as Kurokirishima. The second glass was a white Zannami on the rocks. I wanted to drink Kumamoto's rice shochu for the second glass, so I looked for it on the menu, but I couldn't find it. I was disappointed, but one of my senpai, who was from Kyushu, saw this and selected a sake similar to the rice shochu. When I tried it, I found it had a peculiar taste, similar to Kumamoto's shochu. Awamori is made from rice (long grain rice), so they are similar. It is similar to the base liquor of habu-shu I had somewhere (laugh). The third drink was Kumesen. The third drink was Kume Sen, an awamori from Kume Island, Okinawa, served on the rocks. This is another sake recommended by my senpai. This is a very strong sake. The peculiar aroma is similar to Kumamoto's Rokushiki. After drinking this, I suddenly got drunk (laugh). I overslept for a few stations on the subway on the way home. And when I tried to write a review the next day, I forgot to take a picture of the drinks (^^;;; The payment was 32,000 yen for 12 people. I had not had much connection with Awamori. I could know a little bit about Awamori. And thank you for the good time. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
