This time we are going on a tour of international cuisine. I went to ``Authentic Taiwanese Small Plate Cuisine Baien''. Although there are many restaurants that say Taiwanese Cuisine on their signboards, they don't have very typical dishes, but this one has a separate menu with the Taiwanese flag on it, such as clams pickled in soy sauce, radish mochi, omelets, and stuffed intestines. There are many Taiwanese dishes. For some reason, they also have a vegetarian menu, and the menu is a little different from the usual continental Chinese restaurants, so it's a bit interesting. Furthermore, it's very close to Sakae Station, making it easy to access, and the price is average for that, making it highly convenient. When I entered the store and actually looked at the menu, I realized that there were a lot of items. I had a hard time deciding between two options: - Special Spicy Yuba Tofu (902 yen including tax) - Daikon Mochi (533 yen including tax). I chose from the recommended menu with the Taiwanese flag mark. I got 10% off with the coupon and the payment was 1,271 yen. ◯Cooking/Taste...It's a small plate dish, so the portions aren't too big and it's a good size for one person, and the taste isn't too strong. Moderate food and moderate taste.・Special spicy spicy yuba tofu Do you have the image of a cold tofu with a spicy flavor? Since it's called Yuba tofu, it has a slightly unusual texture, like firm tofu that has been squeezed even harder to make it firmer. There are bean sprouts on the bottom, and the bean sprouts mixed with the sauce are simply delicious.・Daikon mochi The surface is baked crispy and the inside has a texture between chewy and chewy. I love Taiwanese daikon mochi, but surprisingly there aren't many places that sell it, so I was glad I had it after a long time. ◯Service...The clerk is from China. As expected, there is a shop near Sakae Station, and they speak Japanese well and are efficient. Even though it was crowded, the food came out quickly. It seems highly practical. ◯Atmosphere…The atmosphere is like a popular Cafeterias. It was crowded and lively. ◯Cost performance...If you use the coupon, you can get 10% off, and if that's the case, the price is about the same as a regular Chinese restaurant in Nishiki, near the station, so it's a reasonable price considering the location. ◯Overall...The two things I liked about it were that it was convenient because it was close to the station, and that it had a lot of unusual and interesting menu items. It looks like it would be fun to snack on a lot of things with a large group, and it's also perfect for snacking on your own. If I had to say it, it's not a big-tasting, punchy, voluminous city-style Chinese restaurant, so I don't think it's suitable for people who want that type of restaurant.
