最近の行動パターンは昼は三越に出かけるようになった。以前は名古屋駅の高島屋ばかり行っていたが、飽きてしまい、三越に来たのだが、いよいよ三越も飽きてきた。そんな中で三越内で行ったことが無いお店を考えるとほとんど残っていないのだが、ここはまだ行っていないとトゥ・ザ・ハーブズ にやってきた。この店は、なんか美味しいというイメージが無かったので避けてきたのだが、まあ、食わず嫌いもなんなので、行ってみた。
この店は店頭のオープンスペースにもテラス席があるが、通された席は店内のスペースだ。夜は肉があるのでステーキに決まっているので肉を食う気にはならず、パスタとラザニアのセットとピザを食べた。これが、予想に反して美味しかった。つまり、期待以上だった訳だ。私にとって美味しいかどうかのボーダーラインはデニーズ以上かどうかだが、今回のパスタとピザはデニーズ以上だった。まあ、最近、デニーズで美味しいと感じたことは無かったのだが、今回は素直に美味しいと思った。
