We've finally arrived in Nagoya~ I don't remember eating much Nagoya or Meshi, so tonight I was thinking of eating as many of Nagoya's specialties as I could. I did a lot of pre-search on Tabelog and decided on this restaurant, which was highly rated as a popular Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and had a variety of things I wanted to try on the menu. It seems to be a fairly famous store in Nagoya. It's a whole building with a big signboard, and even Mr. Igawa's highball... It's a prime location with such a presence that you'd think there'd be no one who didn't know about it. Even so, I entered the store around 6pm on the day before a public holiday, and there was no one in town at all. Is a state of emergency declared? That's about it. There were a few customers inside the store, and I was guided to the second floor. No smoking, but there is a smoking booth. Cheers at last. 1L of handsome draft beer! ? I'm embarrassed. I'll order it right away. We ordered miso kushikatsu, upper skewers, chicken dish, miso stew, grilled chicken, etc. It's a miso culture. Does it seem thinner than you think to people from Kansai? It was a light miso that wasn't too strong. The most delicious thing was probably the grilled chicken. Ask the staff for recommendations: mentaiko and cheese topping. The live feel of the food being cooked by the staff is amazing. I ordered beer because everyone was drinking Akahoshi and Yokocho Daruma Sour, and it was refreshing and quite delicious. I liked it so much that if it was on sale at the supermarket, I would have bought it and taken it home. There are plenty of seats, so if you're unsure, this is the place! ! That's what it feels like. The menu is also extensive. However, I decided to go to another restaurant for miso Nagoya cuisine that was different from what I had imagined. Thank you for the meal.
