A Belgian beer specialty store. Founded in Nagoya in 1891 (Meiji 24). Moved to its current location and reopened in November 2017. "BEER BOUTIQUE KIYA" on the first floor is not only a place to buy bottles, but also has a dining space. In the store, you can experience the world of Belgian beer by drinking up to five types of draft Belgian beer or bottles for sale on the spot, and enjoy pairing them with light meals. It is a space where customers can meet beer friends or enjoy a leisurely beer drink by themselves. We also sell beers from outside Belgium, Chochin sake, wine, and more. "KIYA LIBRARY & SEMINAR ROOM" on the second floor is used as a space to actively support courses sponsored by the Japan Belgian Beer Professional Association, courses on beer, various seminars on things other than beer, and how women can enjoy their free time. 丸の内のビジネス街にあるベルギービールの酒屋さんです。店内にもカウンター３席とテーブル３卓ほどの席があり、ベルギービールの樽生や長珍酒造の日本酒を楽しむことができます。この日は飲み会があったのですが、チョット時間があったのでココで軽く一杯飲んでいくことに。平日の１９時過ぎくらいに入りましたがほかにお客さんはいませんでした。
樽生ビールの種類は５種類あり、それぞれに丁寧な説明書きがあるのでベルギービールの知識がほとんどないワタクシでも全然大丈夫です。
いただいたのはPater Lieven Bruin(パーデル リーヴェン・ブラウン)というビール、フルーツのような甘く香ばしい香り、口にするとしっかりとした酸味が口に広がりつつほのかな甘みも感じられます。程よい苦味もあって飲みやすい感じのブラウンビールでした。
樽生以外でもボトルビールも楽しむこともできます。おつまみは缶詰とかくらいしかないですが、ビールの種類はとにかく豊富なのでビール好きにはたまらないですね。ごちそうさまでした。
