All-you-can-eat authentic Hot pot for lunch and dinner ♪ Dinner is also a great deal at just 2,380 yen!!
[Zui Shu Xiang] where you can enjoy authentic all-you-can-eat Hot pot in Shinsakae. This popular restaurant offers all-you-can-eat Hot pot that can be enjoyed day or night. -Inside- The restaurant has |
This time I went on a tour of international cuisine. I went to a Chinese restaurant called "Zui Shu Xiang" that specializes in Hot pot. It's located near Kawaramachi intersection where many local Chinese restaurants are located. According to the Tabelog information, they also serve other dishes in addition to Hot pot, so I went there with that in mind, but as soon as I sat down, they explained that if you're alone, you can only get the lunch Hot pot set, and there are no other dishes. They also added that you can't get the all-you-can-eat Hot pot unless you're with two or more people. I'm not here for the all-you-can-eat option, so that doesn't really matter, but I thought it would be a bit tricky to order Hot pot by myself, so I looked at the menu and saw that the set menu was quite substantial and the price was reasonable, so I thought it wouldn't be bad, so I ordered the "shabu shabu Lamb" (980 yen including tax). According to the menu, the contents are: ・150g lamb ・Assorted vegetables ・Meatballs ・Rice ・Half Ramen, pickles, boiled Gyoza / Dumpling, dessert ・Soup (choose from 4 types) → Spicy soup ・2 types of sauce However, the meatballs, pickles, and boiled Gyoza / Dumpling were not actually served. Instead, I don't know what it was, but they served something that looked like fried tofu and ham. ◯Food/Taste...Well, it was a lunch set, so I guess that's about right. Considering the price, it wasn't bad. ・Lamb Thinly sliced, soft, and not too strong. Just as tasty. ・Assorted vegetables Leafy vegetables and enoki mushrooms. It looks like a lot of it, but once it's boiled, I don't think there's that much. ・Rice About half a bowl of white rice. Not much. ・Half a bowl of Ramen Regular Chinese noodles. Boil in soup and eat. ・Fried tofu This is also regular fried tofu. ・Ham? I don't really know what this is. Chinese ingredients?・Soup The taste is not strong, but it has a spicy taste, or rather, it has Chinese spices. It's not spicy, but if you drink it too fast, you'll choke. ・Sauce Ponzu and sesame sauce. It doesn't have a particularly distinctive taste, it's just average. △Service... The customer service is not particularly bad, it's average. I think the staff is Chinese, but they can speak Japanese perfectly. However, the menu is different from the official information, and there is only a Hot pot set, and the set contents are also different from the menu, so it needs to be improved. If you're going for Hot pot from the beginning, it's fine. ◯Atmosphere... The inside is more spacious than it looks from the outside, and the seats are large and clean. The seats are box seats, so you don't have to worry about the surroundings (it was empty so you didn't have to worry about it anyway), and the heater is induction, so it's clean. It was a comfortable space to eat. ◯Cost performance... I feel that it's quite a good deal for just this amount for 980 yen, whether it's lunch or dinner. It may be even better value at night. Overall...The food itself is sufficient considering the price, and I think it's good that you can eat Hot pot dishes, which are hard to do alone. There are no a la carte dishes, so be careful.
