イタリアに11年滞在し、トリノの超老舗パスタ店で研鑽を積んだシェフが名古屋の錦エリアで営むイタリアン。
栄駅からは徒歩数分の好立地ですが、上述の通り夜の繁華街である錦のほぼど真ん中に位置する為、歩いていると少しヒヤッとします。
エレベーターを上がるとドアなどは無くそのまま店内に直結しており、結構広い。
シェフとイタリア人のマダムが温かく迎え入れてくれます。
ディナーとはいえ税サ込5,500円とかなりお値打ちなコースがありそれにするか悩んだのですが、それまでの時間になにか買い食いする可能性なども加味して今回はアラカルトにしました。
しっかり目の味付けのサラミをつまみにスパークリングをぐいぐい飲みつつ、天使の海老のカルパッチョのお出まし。
ちょっと臭みがあるような気がします。
それが消せるのがカルパッチョの良いところな気がしますが、塩ベースのシンプルな調味なのでちょっと中和できてないのが気掛かり。
パスタはカラスミとカチョエペペの2皿。
美味しいは美味しいですが、こちらもカラスミの微かな臭いだったり、全体の温度だったり、ちょっとした部分が妙に引っ掛かる。
状況を見ながらもう1品追加しようか考えましたが、今回はやめときました。
年が明けて間もないタイミングだったので、食材の調達など含め難しい部分もあったかと。
さすがにこれがアクセル全開ではないだろうなとは思いました。
