Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) opened in December 2019 in the Sumiyoshi area of Sakae's downtown area.It seems to be an annex to a nearby shop.I tried it out on a weekday night. There were only about 15 seats at the counter inside the store, and when I entered around 8pm, there were about 3 other customers. The menu includes skewers such as yakitori, fish skewers, vegetable skewers, and creative skewers, as well as Sushi, sashimi, Fried food, fried foods, and rice dishes. Among them, we received yakitori with liver and green onion, fish skewers with saikyo-yaki of magtaku and Spanish mackerel, and creative skewers with meat-wrapped skewers of bean sprouts and pork mochi. As for the skewers, the yakitori was good. The liver was perfectly cooked, and it was delicious with no odor and a strong sweetness. The meat was juicy and tender, and the sauce was just the way I liked it. The creative skewer pork mocchi is Grilled skewer of rice cake wrapped in pork. From the name of the product, I thought it would be something like that, but it was a hit (lol) The soft and chewy rice cake goes well with the pork. It was quite delicious. To finish, I ordered sushi of Sushi, kohada, and conger eel, and the sushi was a small nigiri, so I could have had about 3 more pieces of this. It's great to be able to enjoy yakitori and Sushi made by artisans together, and I think it's not a bad restaurant with a nice atmosphere where you can just drop in. Thank you for the meal.
