Lunch at Teppanyaki Owl in Marunouchi (Nagoya). For lunch here, you can enjoy teppanyaki dishes and rice cooked in a clay pot. In the middle of lunch time on a weekday, I was able to sit at the counter just in time. The lunch menu changes daily: 850 yen, Wagyu Steak Bowl, 1,300 yen, Wagyu Stew, 850 yen, Tonteki, 850 yen, Assortment, 1,100 yen, Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), 750 yen, Hiroshima Yaki, 850 yen.I was interested in rice cooked in a clay pot, so the order changes daily. On this day, it was stir-fried spicy seseri with miso. Although it looked meager, it had plenty of flavor and volume. However, the rice cooked in the earthenware pot, which I had hoped for, lacked the shine and freshness, and the dry, almost burnt parts were noticeable, which I didn't like.
