This is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that opened on January 18, 2024 on Princess Boulevard in Sakae.I went there on a weekday night to see that the drinks were cheaper to commemorate the opening. The 2nd to 4th floors of the building are occupied by restaurant, and there are plenty of seats, including counters, tables, sunken kotatsu tables, and private rooms.I arrived around 8pm, and there were a lot of customers, probably because they were running a campaign. It was crowded with people. The menu includes specialty Steak, Okonomiyaki, Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), Monja-yaki, pork kimchi, nagaimo butter, and Teppan-yaki), as well as sashimi, fried Fried food, pizza, rice dishes such as garlic rice, and even 2-person portions. However, there were also beef Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) and chicken chan nabe. Among the dishes we received were braised beef tendon, mochi mentaiko cheese monja, and top-quality beef Steak. Monja doesn't have iron plates at the seats, so they grill it on a ceramic plate, which is great. Even if it doesn't cook well, I don't have to worry about it since I'm the only one this time. I overcooked it a bit so it didn't taste as good as Monja, but thanks to the strong flavor of the dashi, the tangy mentaiko, and the chewy mochi, it had just the right amount of volume. The premium beef Steak starts at 150g, so it's quite filling, but I'm happy that it's reasonably priced at 1,600 yen. There were a variety of sauces to choose from, so I chose garlic butter, and it also came with salt and wasabi, but I felt like it wasn't quite enough to eat with those, so I thought onion sauce or gravy would go well with it. There might be. That said, the meat was delicious, with a meaty texture and juicy flavor, which was more than enough considering the price. I wanted to try Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), but I was full that day, so I decided to save it for next time. Thank you for the meal.
