[Motivation for visiting] - I was in the mood to eat some delicious gamjatang, so after comparing and considering several Korean Cuisine restaurants in the Shin-Rong area, I chose this restaurant as it seemed like it would offer the taste of Korean Cuisine. This is my first visit. [Atmosphere of the store] - Perhaps because it was raining and it was around 9 pm, there were only three groups of customers, so there was no need to make a reservation. A group of a Korean couple, two women, and three Japanese women.・The interior of the restaurant has table seats near the entrance, and tatami-mat seats (not horigotatsu) as you enter the back. Korean TV was on and Korean was echoing throughout the store. [Customer Service] - It seems that the store is run by a Korean couple. It was good that the president explained the dishes and the best time to eat them. The wife came to talk to me during the meal, and I was able to enjoy the meal in a comfortable manner. [Cooking] - Ordered 2 servings of gamjatang, 2 servings of daeji galbi, Kumgangsan pancake, and 1 bottle of Korean soju. ▪️Free side dishes - Miyeokchulgi (stemmed wakame namul), minari (seed namul), gakdugi (radish kimchi), and choregi salad were provided. All of the flavors were very close to the authentic flavor, so much so that I wanted a second helping. ▪️Gamjatang ・The soup, filled with the flavor of pork backbone and the aroma of turkekar (perilla flour), warmed my body from the core. My partner who went with me said that even in Korea, there are few gamjatang that are as delicious as this one. Apparently the gamjatang was very delicious. ▪️Tejikalbi ・The president cut the meat into bite-sized pieces with scissors and grilled it for me.・The seasoning is sweet yangnyeom. The texture of the meat is good, and it's even more delicious when you wrap the meat, grilled garlic, ssamjang, and choregi salad in the sandwich that comes with it.・Kongozan Panchimi contains Seafood ingredients such as green onions and squid, and the batter is crispy and the inside is piping hot. Dipping it in the sauce gives it a slightly refreshing taste without being too greasy. This is a dish that goes well with alcohol. Overall, I was satisfied and it has become my favorite restaurant that I definitely want to visit again for Gamjatang. By the way, credit cards are accepted for payment, but the president said he would prefer to pay in cash.
