We are four friends from the company and we had a dinner on a weekday night! We went to "Yakitori Taiko" located between Shinsakaecho, Chigusa and Kurumamichi stations along Nishiki-dori where you can enjoy Yakitori at a reasonable price! The woody exterior of restaurant is open to the public, so we took off our shoes and went inside. There are 4 seats at the counter and 5 tables in the tatami room! The menu was - Appetizer: Spicy bean sprouts, just average - Chopstick rest: Cabbage with salt sauce, crispy and perfect for a chopstick rest - Whisami salad: Marbled white meat on a generous portion of salad with Japanese dressing, just average - Whisami with ume plum dressing: Whisami with ume paste The same white meat as in the white meat salad is dipped in plum paste! Grilled skewer The chicken was cooked in a soy sauce broth and served in a pot with chicken, cabbage, carrots, leeks, leeks, shiitake mushrooms, vermicelli and many other ingredients! After simmering in soy sauce broth, the minced chicken was spooned into the pot with a spoon! After 2.5 hours, 4 drunken old men were ready! For 3,500 yen, I have no complaints about the cost performance.
