東区にあるカフェバーです。
こちらでは、木・金曜日の限定でランチメニューにカレーが登場するとのことで、カレー巡りで利用しに行ってきました。
場所は東片端の交差点付近。
通りから少しだけ奥に入ったところにあるビルの一階部分に入っています。
駅だと瀬戸線の東大手が最寄りです。
頼んだものは、"スパイシーポークカレー"。
小鉢２種、サラダ、スープ、ドリンク付でお値段は税込1,000円です。
△料理・味…「限定」や「スパイシー」という期待の持てそうな言葉を使ってる割には普通過ぎる気が。
小鉢が和惣菜というのもなんか違和感あり、ちょいイメージと違いました。
・スパイシーポークカレー
市販のカレーっぽい馴染みのあるタイプ。家で作るカレーとか観光地の飲食店のカレーを思い出しました。
ローストポークがウリなようなので、肉も期待してたのですが量が少なくてそこもうーん。
・小鉢２種
蓮根のきんぴらと鶏と根菜の煮物。
カレーに合わせたものというわけではなく、週替りランチセットの小鉢を流用している模様。
・サラダ
レタス＆ポテトサラダ。ドレッシングはオイル系。
サラダは洋スタイルのようです。
・スープ
コンソメ系と思われます。具は玉ねぎとにんじん。
スープも洋風。
◯サービス…ランチメニューは種類少ないけどバラエティには富んでると思います。
水はセルフ。セットのドリンクはテイクアウトさせてもらえるようで、プラ容器で出てきました。
接客の感じは悪くありませんでした。
◯雰囲気…広さはそこそこですが、ゆとりあります。
テーブル席がメインです。
カフェ調の雰囲気で、店は清潔感ありました。
お昼時でも空いていたので快適。
△コスパ…カレーに加えて小鉢２種、サラダ、スープ、ドリンクついて1,000円ならそんなに高くはないのかもしれないけど、主役のカレーが普通過ぎたせいかちょっと割高感を覚えてしまいました。
あの小鉢なら敢えてつけてもらわなくていいのでその分安くなるといいのになぁ。
△総合…名前や触れ込みの割に普通なカレーで、やや肩透かしくらった気がしました。
変に意識せずに食べたらそうは思わなかったかもしれませんが。
逆に、普通のカレーが一番という方なら落ち着けるセット内容だと思います。
