I had afternoon tea at Cypress Garden Hotel near Kanayama Station. It's a few minutes walk from the south exit, but it's surprisingly quiet. Restaurants is on the first floor, Verger. I went in around 3 o'clock. The customers were a group of older people and a few office workers. I was shown to a seat by the window. It was a bright seat facing a large window. The afternoon tea tower and drinks were free for 90 minutes. There were many types of drinks. I made a reservation through another site, but I got a special gift of sparkling wine. The sweets were fruits, raw chocolate, biscotti, roll cake, etc. On the other hand, the savory dishes were a bit disappointing. The lettuce salad and French fries seemed like leftovers from breakfast? They just put them on top. It was ¥2500, so I wish they had something a little more elaborate. Also, the free drinks were good and there were many types, but there were not many staff members, so it was difficult to order even if I wanted to. However, I thought that the quiet and calm restaurant was quite good for a relaxing tea in Kanayama. I would like to come here for tea again. It was a feast.
