I wanted to eat curry for lunch, so I visited this place. I've known the staff for a while, and we greet each other when we pass by on our way to work in the morning or at lunchtime. I've been here about three times for lunch and once at night. This is my first time posting on Tabelog! I usually have naan, but today I wanted to eat rice, so I tried curry rice for the first time! The naan here is just as big as other curry restaurants. It's quite thick and fluffy. It's delicious, but it's hard to refuse when they offer you a second helping... lol The restaurant was mostly female, with several groups of women in uniforms and business casual. I took a peek at the lunch menu, and although I usually have deep tea lunch, I decided to have curry lunch this time! There are three types of curry to choose from depending on the day of the week. On this day, there was a fixed menu of Seafood and egg, and a daily menu of spinach and pumpkin chicken curry. I ordered spinach and pumpkin chicken curry with a large serving of rice and lassi for a drink. By the way, you can choose the spiciness of the curry from five levels. Today I ordered level 4. There are spices on the table, so you can change it to your liking! Soon, the salad with the standard dressing arrived. The dressing has an indescribable sweetness and umami, and people's tastes differ, but this one is delicious! The soup tastes like egg soup with spices. Be careful, as it can be quite salty at times. By the time I finished drinking the soup, the curry rice arrived! As expected, it was a large serving, and quite a large volume! There was a huge pile of rice. The curry was filled with chicken and pumpkin, and was very satisfying to eat. The spiciness level of 4 was just right. The rice was light and not too moist, and went well with the curry. It used to be labeled as domestic rice, and I think it still is. I was stuffed to the brim, but after finishing the meal, I had a lassi to clear my mouth, throat, and stomach before leaving the restaurant. The service was also quick, and if you can eat a large serving of curry rice for 700 yen, it's a great deal! Thank you for the meal!
