I went to Tori Aristocrat in Atsuta-ku, Nagoya City, just outside the south exit of Kanayama Station. I heard a rumor that the chicken salt boiled egg Ramen was delicious, so I took advantage of an early finish from work and went to Toriki by myself. I had the yakitori with yakitori sauce, kimo yakitori with salt and sesame oil, and a mega mug of Kinmugi beer! What a mega mug! The mitori was grilled thigh meat with sauce. Each leg is huge, tender, and delicious. The liver was a bit dry, but that was about it. And to finish up early, I went for a very simple Ramen. The only toppings were green onion and boiled egg. And black pepper. A sip of the soup. A simple chicken salt soup. The noodles are frizzy and curly with high water content. The boiled egg is sweet and thick. Next time, I will have Torishiryu-men!
