こちらの拠点に至近なので、日曜日のランチにふらりと入ってみました。
先客は2名。後からパラパラと来客がありましたが店内は意外に広いのでガラんとした印象です。
残念なのは店員さんに覇気がなく、言葉少なに笑顔も無く無愛想な接客なのでポイントダウンです。
ランチメニューは色々なセットがありましかだ、初来店なので色々味見をしようと、1番多品種なDセット1350円をオーダーしました。選べるカレー2種、タンドリーチキン1/2ピース、シシカバブ1/2ピースにサラダ、スープ、そしてナンかライスはお代わり自由なようです。
最初に来たサラダとスープは、可もなく不可もなく、いたって普通。次にカレーとライスが来ましたが、カレーは、しっかり具材が入ったドロっとした感じで、やや塩分控えめな品の良い濃厚さでした。因みにこの日はザクチキン（ほうれん草系）とベジタブルの2種を辛口で頼みました。辛さはさほどでも無く、辛い物好きの小生としては激辛を選べば良かったかな。人気のナンはボリュームがすごいとクチコミにあったので、ライスにしましたが、おそらく日本米を使っていて、ずっしりお腹にたまりました。インド米の軽いヤツの方がインドカレーには合いますね。
程なくしてタンドリーチキンとシシカバブが来ましたが、タンドリー1/2は骨付きのもも肉の上半分がカットされてました。味はまあごく普通。しかしシシカバブはこれで1/2？と言うくらいのが一本ドーンと乗ってました。こちらはスパイスが効いていて美味。肉質も柔らかく、今まで食べたシシカバブでは1番美味しいかも。
てなわけでライスとシシカバブのボリュームにスッカリ満腹になりましたが、胸焼け、腹もたれ感が全く無いのは、スパイスの効能か、品の良い味付けのおかげかな。
実はかなり前に入店し席についたら、アルコールを置いてないと言うので、取りやめて店を出た事がありました。今回はランチなのでアルコール無くても良いかなと入店しましたが、メニューにはアルコールが何種もラインナップされていました。
アルコールあるなら、味は中々だったのでまたリピートしようと思います。
