Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) opened on January 12, 2020, just a 10-minute walk from Kanayama Sogo Station, and I immediately tried it out on a holiday night. There were 10 seats at the counter and 4 tables on sunken kotatsu tables, and there were no other customers when I entered around 6pm, but several groups of customers had come in since then. The menu includes charcoal grilled yakitori. There were fried foods such as miso oden and Fried food, a la carte dishes such as Teppan-yaki, and simple snacks. There were also great value sets such as the Goribee set, which comes with two skewers and a drink as snacks, for 980 yen, and the Senbero set, which comes with small snacks and two drinks, for 1,000 yen. Yakitori skin costs 70 yen, which is quite reasonable. First, I ordered the goribee set, and the skewers were skin and liver, both of which were not bad. When you look at it, it looks like it uses Nishiki Soudori, so it's no wonder it's delicious. Next, I ordered miso oden with a soft-boiled egg and daikon radish.The seeds were thoroughly stewed in miso, and the flavor soaked through to the inside, making it delicious. The miso is relatively light, but the dashi comes out well, so it's totally delicious. What was also interesting was Gori's snack of fried squid, and the playful menu of fried squid with mayo and shichimi as a snack.This goes perfectly with alcohol, which is what Majora is all about, it was pretty good. is.
