[4 minutes from Kamimaezu Station] Authentic Sri Lankan home cooking made by Sri Lankans. Enjoy the fragrant spices♪
Our restaurant was opened as a place where you can enjoy the taste of the local area. Spices and ingredients are imported directly from Sri Lanka, and we serve dishes cooked by authentic Sri Lankan st |
This is a Sri Lankan Cuisine in Kamimaezu. The staff are generally on the first floor, so Cafeterias space on the second floor is unmanned. If you need something, you can ring the doorbell to call the staff. Well, I had the daily Sri Lankan plate for 1,100 yen. The coconut-flavored bean curry, parippu, chicken curry, etc. are quite spicy overall. The karapincha is fragrant and delicious, but the most difficult thing about it is that the seasoning is extremely salty. I was surprised that not only the parippu and chicken curry, but also the pol sambol, were all salty. Even the fried egg was well seasoned, and the salad was seasoned, so my tongue never had a break. I had to drink water every time I took a bite. The fried shrimp sitting on top of the rice is completely frozen. Is the fish in the cutlet a can of tuna? Is this also a pre-made product? In any case, the taste was nothing special. What's more, the portions were huge. The seasoning was too salty so I wanted to leave most of it, but I felt bad so I ate about 80% of it and ended up full. I think it would be difficult for an average Japanese person to finish it all. Overall, I thought it was a delicious Sri Lankan Cuisine, but to be honest, nothing more and nothing less. Anyway, the saltiness of the seasoning and the large portion were a bit of a challenge. Anyway, thank you for the meal.
