先日、池下にランチに向かった時にちょうど12時に店頭の開店準備をされているのを見かけました。12時ちょうどのオープンは珍しい・・と記憶に残りました。後日、12時少し前に店前を通るとやはり準備をされていたので「12時からですか？ いいですか・・」とお尋ねしてお店の方と一緒に店内に入りました。
木調のちょっと年季も感じる店内は外観から想像するより広く、テーブルと小上がり席が結構あります。カウンターは数席ですが・・ ジャズが流れてやや暗めの店内はゆっくりお酒と鶏を楽しめそうないい雰囲気です。うーん、ランチの定食のみというのはかなり残念！
4種の「定食」の中から「せせりの鉄板焼き定食」をお願いしました。定食はいずれも「小鉢」「スープ」「ご飯」「漬物」がセットで1000円です。駅チカの場所柄有難い・・
近くの会社の常連さんも多いようで、若い方にはやっぱり「鶏みそかつ」「鶏からあげ」が人気のようです。
しばらくして写真のプレートが到着しました。「せせり」の食感の良さに心躍ります。「名古屋コーチン・鶏卸し直営店」の看板のこちらですが、やはり素材が良いのだと思います。あぁ、やっぱり「鶏串焼き」も食べたい・・
優しいテイストの「スープ」には旨い「鶏肉団子」が・・ 「うずら」が3個も入った贅沢な小鉢も楽しめました。
お店の営業はお昼からの「通し営業」なのか中休みが入るのかちょっと分かりません。ただ、ランチ時から「定食」で飲み始めて酔っぱらうのもちょっと楽しそうです（笑）
