名古屋市営地下鉄・吹上駅近くのバス通り沿いにある、とても庶民的な雰囲気の町のお寿司屋さん。つけ場に面した一列のカウンター席とその背面の壁際に４人掛けのテーブルが２卓あるこじんまりとした店で、そこかしこに生活感が溢れています。
ランチタイムに伺うと、店内のテレビではNHKの連続テレビ小説が映っていました。
いただいたのは「ランチにぎり」。鮪、白身魚、鰹、鰤、海老、穴子といったにぎり６貫と、トビコ軍艦巻、鉄火巻５切れ、あさり汁、さらに茶碗蒸しも付いて950円というリーズナブルなランチセットです。
大きめのシャリのにぎりは見た目以上にボリュームがあり、にぎりは６貫でも巻物まで食べれば意外にお腹いっぱいになります。特に印象に残るような味わいではありませんが、ネタは概して新鮮で、安心していただけるにぎり寿司です。
あさり汁の味が薄くて最初は違和感を感じましたが、出汁が効いているので物足りなさはありませんでした。
支払は現金払いのみ。場所を聞かなかったので詳細はわかりませんが、店の裏手に専用駐車場もあるようです。
