I found a secret spot
After leaving Tateriya, the restaurant I went to was full and on my way from Ikeshita to Imaike, I saw a sign for Szechuan Cuisine. I decided to warm up with some Sichuan mapo. For now, I have Sapporo's Akahoshi beer, which makes me a little happy. Seven Gyoza / Dumpling are cheap at less than 500 yen. Mapo tofu has a delicious mix of sweetness and peppery spiciness. Personally, I think it would be better if it was more spicy. The menu lists the chef's name and the dishes recommended by that person (3 people), giving a sense of the restaurant's confidence. There were a few customers who seemed to be Chinese, so perhaps this was authentic Chinese food with no extra charges. The price of the course menu was reasonable, so I would like to try the course next time.

I went to the second shop and liked it. It is often used by middle-aged couples, including ourselves. I wanted to enjoy the course, but it wasn't available for 2 people, so I ordered some of the dishes I had my eye on last time. All of them are not only spicy, but also have a deep flavor with hints of other spices. This time I ate the Sichuan version of the mapo tofu, but it didn't taste too spicy and was probably star anise. I have the impression that it is in harmony with The portions are quite large, so I think you'll probably have to visit several times to see the menu you want. Personally, I think it's a pretty delicious Szechuan Cuisine restaurant, so I feel like Tabelog rating is a little low. Also, my rating has gone down a bit, but as I've been adding more reviews, I've settled on my own evaluation criteria, so it doesn't mean my impression has gotten worse.
