Restaurant highlights |
Cuisine made with charcoal. Sumibi Kappo Oshima
The flavor of the ingredients and the aroma of the charcoal fire are the greatest seasonings for grilled food. You can also enjoy charcoal-grilled dishes that bring out the best in the ingredients wit |
It's located in a residential area a little way from Odori in Chikusa-ku, around Ikeshita Station. When I visited in June, the dinner course was a little more reasonable at 8,000 yen, but it may have gone up in price. At Ikyu, it was only 9,000 yen. It seems they also offer a la carte. First, I had a draft beer, Kirin Brown Meister. On this day, I was able to eat three kinds of sashimi with each condiment, which was delicious. There were also various charcoal-grilled ingredients. The elegant conger eel and kudzu somen noodles seemed to be in season! Both meats are domestically produced in different areas, but the seasonings of the beef and pork were different, so I was able to compare them. After the second drink, they also had wine by the glass, so I had that with me. Two pieces of Sushi were served, and the last rice was freshly cooked in a clay pot. If there was any left over, the shiny, beautiful white rice could be made into Onigiri, but I ate it all up. The dessert was panna cotta with red bean paste, which I really liked ♡ There are private rooms on the second floor as well, and the spacious table seating seems like it could be used for adult family gatherings or for a nice meal. I would definitely like to visit again.
