A great place to shop early in the morning
When I go for an early morning walk with my wife, we often have breakfast, but before 7am, nowhere is open. But this place is fine, so we walk to Higashiyama early in the morning. It's a very tasty and great value for money restaurant. I had bacon and eggs with beef, and my wife usually has Noodles, but today we had a set meal. All this is about 500 yen per person. The prices at Family restaurant we used to frequent have gone up, so breakfast is no longer a good value, and we no longer go there. Pricing is difficult.

早朝の妻とのウォーキング。喫茶店が開いていたらモーニングでもと思いましたが早すぎて何処も開いていない。諦めかけたところにこちらのお店が目に入り入店です。以前何回か来たことがありましたが妻が言うには朝のメニューがなかなかとか。なんと目玉焼きの定食やうどんは税込で280円！コンビニ弁当より安いじゃないですか！私は鳥そぼろ丼の朝定食を、妻は担々麺に決めました。そぼろの定食は生卵や白菜の浅漬け、味噌汁まで付いている。味もなかなか行ける、うどんも美味しかったそうです。お店で食べさせてこのレベルでこの値段は立派です。早朝なのにぽつぽつお客さんがやって来る。えらいもんです。

I visited this restaurant because they were having a salmon roe and sea urchin fair. I occasionally visit this restaurant. My wife, who loves salmon roe, ordered the salmon roe bowl, and I ordered the highly acclaimed Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl). On a Sunday lunchtime, it was surprisingly crowded with families with children. Maybe it's because McDonald's has gone up in price? Honestly, the salmon roe bowl is worth the price. It also seems to be a lot less than in the photo. Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl) is very delicious and reasonably priced, as it has a good reputation. My wife, who loves salmon roe, said that if it was twice as expensive, she would have preferred Oyako-don (Chicken and egg bowl).
