When I was in college, there was a stylish Restaurants called Big Wednesday here, and before that was a family restaurant called Family restaurant, and after Big Wednesday was a Chinese Cuisine, and this restaurant opened after Chinese Cuisine. I heard that it has been in business for about 30 years. In Nagoya, there is Marino, a famous Italian Cuisine Family restaurant, and I think this is similar. I have passed by this restaurant hundreds of times, but this is the first time I have been here since Big Wednesday. It is located on Yamate-dori, between my alma mater and Nagoya University. The surrounding restaurants do not have parking lots, so this restaurant has plenty of space, which is helpful. There was firewood for pizza in part of the parking lot. It was a weekend, outside of lunch time, but it was very crowded with customers waiting to pay after leaving. I ordered a mangiare lunch for one person, which included a choice of salad, pasta or pizza, and a drink. The pasta came with a large portion or cake, and the pizza came with cake, for 1,780 yen. I ordered carbonara, tiramisu, and espresso. The bacon in the carbonara is a matter of preference, but I like it thick, and this one is on the thinner side. The tiramisu and espresso were both average, but it's rare to see so many averages. Next time I'll try their pizza. Today is the food fighter's birthday. He's probably being celebrated by a lot of friends around Umeda. Happy 26th birthday. It's Christmas Eve!
