名古屋・桜山の環状線沿いにある「バーミヤン桜山店」。すかいらーくグループの中華ファミリーレストランです。
１Ｆ部分が駐車場になっているピロティ様式の都市型店舗で、エレベーターがないようなので、店に入るにはどうしても階段を上らなければなりません。
ランチタイムを少し過ぎたくらいの時間帯でしたが、店内はほぼ満席。幸いテーブルが空くのを待つ必要はありませんでしたが、平日でもけっこう賑わっていました。
いただいたのは、夏の冷やし麺フェアの「冷やし担々麺」879円。「アジフライ・ごはんセット」286円を追加しました。
山椒ラー油入りのピリッとした辛味が爽やかな「冷やし担々麺」。麺の上にトッピングされた巨大なひき肉みその塊のインパクトが大きいですが、それがなくても濃厚な胡麻とピーナッツのタレが意外なほどバランスの良い味わいを醸し出していました。
正直、味の方は期待どおりの…というか、それ以上でもそれ以下でもない仕上がりですが、パソコンを開いて軽くワークをしていても全く気にならないオープンな雰囲気は代えがたいかも。ファミレスの存在価値はそういうところにこそあるんでしょうね。
