なかなか夏の暑さが消えずに長引いて、つい一昨日まで「あちいわ」なんてご隠居さんから聞いていました。なのに、この日は秋が深まったように風が吹きつけてきて、肌寒さすら感じました。所用ついでに、いつものうどん屋さんまで歩いてきたら、日替わりは「とんかつ玉子とじあんかけうどん」なんてのが黒板に登場したりして「わかってらっしゃる」と頷く間もなく吸い込まれる私たち。どんぶりいっぱいに大きさに乗っかったロースかつは見事な両目です。あんかけなこともあいまり、最後までうどんは熱々を楽しめました。ロースかつの下味が胡椒強めだったこともあり、ちょっと名古屋名物あんかけパスタを想起してしまいました。そういえば長らくあんかけパスタ、食べていないナ……。
和食の板さんがうどん屋さんに転向したらしいよなんて噂を聞けば、ついつい期待も高まるってもんです。昼時はどうしたって使える食材に限りもあるので、仕方ないのですが、それでもできるだけ美味しいものでお腹いっぱいになって帰ってもらおうという気持ちが伝わってきます。手打ちのうどんやきしめんも丁寧で優しく美味しいです。
唯一気になるのはおしぼりの柔軟剤臭が強いこと。これが改善されたら、言うことはありません。
