"Curry House" opened on June 10, 2020. It is a restaurant where you can enjoy a wide variety of curries for lunch and dinner. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with an exotic feel. |
Words related to India and Nepal, such as "Everest," "Namaste," and "Palace," are often seen in the names of Indian and Nepalese restaurants, but we chose "Curry House." It couldn't be simpler. Head south from Kurokawa intersection, cross the bridge, and walk a little southeast to find "Curry House." It's located inside from the main road, so it's hard to find. We went in during lunch time on a weekday. The inside of the restaurant was clean, with about six or seven tables. We were told to sit at a larger table. There were three customers ahead of us. The Indian and Nepalese songs were playing at a low volume. There was a male cook in the kitchen and a female waiter in the dining area. They were probably Nepalese. There was only one lunch menu on the table. It was simple. It was cheap. The price of the set changed depending on the type of curry. Even if I changed the naan, it seemed to be within 1000 yen, so I ordered the ★Keema Curry Lunch Set (750 yen). I asked them to change it to chocolate cheese naan for an additional 200 yen (total 950 yen). The curry is quite spicy. I drink oolong tea. First, the salad and oolong tea are brought. You can help yourself to the dressing. About 10 minutes after ordering, the chocolate cheese naan and keema curry are brought. This is the first time I've ever had Chocolate naan. It has a sweet chocolate scent. When I took it apart, there wasn't much cheese in it. I imagine they put cheese and chocolate chips in it and baked it. The cheese and chocolate tend to gather in the center of the round naan, but it has a sweet and interesting taste just as it looks. The back is crispy. The keema curry is pretty good. The bowl is large and there is a lot of minced chicken, so you can eat more and more. The cumin is a good spice. It's relatively easy to eat. I think the area around my mouth was either black or red after the meal. I wonder if I can get a second helping of plain naan, although it's not written on the menu. Well, I was full so I didn't need a second helping. It's not worth making a special destination, but if you want a simple, cheap naan curry lunch in the Kurokawa area, it's worth stopping by. Dannebard. Thank you for the meal.
