This time we are going on a tour of international cuisine. The place I went to was ``Touen'' in Koryubashi. This is a Chinese restaurant run by a Chinese person, and is a so-called continental Chinese restaurant. However, what makes it interesting is that they have core, authentic cuisine that you won't find at similar restaurants elsewhere. Husband and wife lung pieces, Sichuan hot pot meat, chili chicken, hot pot bao meat, hair blood wang, sour cabbage fish, men's cabbage pancakes, etc. I don't think there are many Chinese restaurants in town that have this many menu items, even if they don't go so far as to say. It was a bit of a hassle, but I decided to order one of the recommended items and one of the rare items: ・Stir-fried Toen Black Pepper Chicken (880 yen including tax) ・Grilled Chive Manju (450 yen including tax) In two. The total cost was 1,330 yen, but it happened to be during the 10% discount period that I paid about 1,200 yen. ◯Cooking/Taste...Exceeded expectations. The taste was good and the volume was great. It may have been a hit menu, but it might be one of the top Chinese restaurants in town.・Tangyuan Black Pepper Chicken and Pepper Stir-Fry Stir-fried battered and fried chicken and vegetables with black pepper sauce. The name sounds like it would be spicy and salty, but when you eat it, the base is sweet and salty, which makes it even more delicious. Furthermore, the amount of meat is quite large for the price, for example, in frozen fried chicken for Bento (boxed lunch) boxes, there are easily more than 10 pieces.・Grilled Chive Manju A oyaki-like dish containing chive balls. This is something you won't find unless you're in a really serious store, but I never expected to find it in a place like this. Do you have an image of large Gyoza / Dumpling with chive balls? It was juicy and delicious too. ◯Service...The person in the hall looks like a kind Chinese mother. It seemed like a homely and easy-to-use shop. ◯Atmosphere...There are table seats and tatami rooms, and the interior design is typical of a Chinese restaurant. It had the atmosphere of an urban Chinese restaurant. ◯Cost performance...The price itself is not high, the quantity is large, and I think the cost performance is relatively good compared to other stores. ◯Overall...It was a hit among continental Chinese restaurants in terms of variety, taste, volume, and cost performance. I was blindsided by the fact that there was a restaurant in such a location that served this kind of food.
