Eight executives gathered in Ozone for a morning meeting. When I think of Maruaki, I think of Mizuho Ward, but I think it was June of last year when I learned that a teahouse had opened on the slope...I wanted to try it at least once, so I checked with the executives who had gathered there. We unanimously agreed to visit Maruake Chaya Gasaka. The set meal comes with a special sauce plate (three plates), and only salt and gochujang are on the table. There is no problem for those who choose salt, but there is no sauce for those who choose sauce. When I asked for the sauce, Marumei sauce and Oroshi sauce were served. I don't think it makes any sense why they asked for ``salt sauce.'' I would understand if a plate of meat marinated in sauce was served... However, the sauce had no impact and was shabby, so I ordered the wasabi for free and finished it all. Hida beef is definitely delicious. Thank you for the meal.
