この店のニュースで大々的に報じられた火災の後、去年の今頃は看板に目隠ししてあり、建物部分は更地になっていた。今年は新しい建物で再開されていたので行ってみることに。
シンプルかつモダンな外観とは対象的に、店内はあさくまらしい洋風な雰囲気にまとめられている。
注文はいつも通りの学生ハンバーグ。
イヤでも付いて来るサラダバーには、マカロニサラダやポテトサラダといったものがなく残念だが、コーンスープ用のカップは保温ケースに入れられてあったか。
あさくまドレッシングとコーンスープが安定のウマさ。そして、ジューッと音を立てながら運ばれてきた学生ハンバーグ。
こちらもウマい「あさくまステーキソース」と、肉々しい味のする学生ハンバーグがよく合い、昔と変わらない味が良い。
最後はお約束のコーンスープのお替りとソフトクリームと行きたいところだったが、この店にはソフトクリームはなく、代わりにバニラ･抹茶･チョコのアイス。これで今回は上手くひねる楽しみが減った。
そして、会計すると1,705円。昔話で恐縮だが、あさくまでバイトしてた35年程前は、サラダバーは無かったものの、千円以下で食べられていたが、今では随分と高価になったものだ。
嘆きながらも、ごちそうさまでした。
