Suddenly I had a craving for miso tonchan, so I got on the Meitetsu line and headed to Hotta Hormone. The restaurant has a relaxed, downtown atmosphere. Coincidentally, Monday is half-price day for tonchan and tongue kalbi, with tonchan at only 145 yen! Considering the entrance fee, I think the tonchan is better value for money than [a:23054617,Tokugawa Hormone Center]. It would be great if they had a happy hour. I immediately ordered from Tribee. [b:◆Miso tonchan for two 290 yen ◆Bakakyu 290 yen ◆Tonchan kalbi 195 yen ◆Hell tonchan 340 yen ◆Morioka Cold Noodles 590 yen ◇Draft beer 430 yen x 3] The fresh tonchan is soft and plump, and the aroma of the miso is super delicious!! Of course, this goes well with draft beer. The tongue kalbi is average, but at half price, I have no complaints. The additional Jigoku Tonchan was full of chili peppers, and the spicy and miso flavor was exquisite. For the final course, I had my favorite Morioka Cold Noodles. The spiciness could only be adjusted with Yangninjang, so it was a little disappointing that it didn't taste the way I wanted it to... but the refreshing, smooth thick noodles were the best!! The staff were very friendly and helpful, so I'd like to return on Monday (lol). Thank you for the meal.
