I went to have dinner with my wife. The restaurant is "Hida Beef Yakiniku (Grilled meat) and Korean Cuisine Maruaki" in Mizuho Ward, Nagoya City. It is a restaurant directly managed by the butcher shop "Maruaki". You can enjoy Yakiniku (Grilled meat), Sukiyaki, shabu shabu, etc. using high-quality Hida beef at reasonable prices. It is also popular for its wide selection of Korean Cuisine and a la carte dishes. It is also a restaurant selected in "Tabelog Yakiniku (Grilled meat) EAST 100 Best Restaurants 2021". I made an online reservation for the restaurant through "Tabelog". There are 120 seats, so it is relatively easy to get a reservation even the day before. We arrived at the restaurant on time for our reservation. We were guided to a table seat for four people. We ordered the following. Salted cabbage Hida beef large plate (red meat, top rib, top loin, and middle rib) Hida beef skirt Seafood onion chijimi I planned to start with something light and then consider adding more depending on my stomach. The salted cabbage and meat were served quickly. It was ready in less than 5 minutes. The yakiniku was quite tasty. However, the large plate of Hida beef was a mistake. The lean meat was good, but the rest was fatty and a bit too heavy for my husband and I. Seafood onion pancake arrived 15 minutes after we ordered. It was bigger than we expected. It was enough to finish us off as we have small appetites. We were completely full before we could order more. As you would expect from a restaurant directly operated by a butcher shop. The deliciousness of the meat is guaranteed. Next time, we would like to try a less fatty cut. Thank you for the meal.
