名古屋名物カレーうどんを食べに、今回訪れたお店が「若鯱家(わかしゃちや)」。
名古屋のカレーうどんは一般的なものとは異なることや、「若鯱家」と「鯱乃家(しゃちのや)」という2店の関係について、詳しくはブログにまとめました。
私は「若鯱家」も「鯱乃家」も行ったことがあり、どちらも好きなお店ですが、個人的にカレーうどんの味は「鯱乃家」の方が好み。
しかし「若鯱家」は店舗がとても多いですし、カレーうどん以外のメニューも豊富なので、行く機会は「若鯱家」の方が多い印象。
今回は名古屋市南区豊田、アピタ名古屋南店3Fにある『若鯱家 アピタ名古屋南店』へ。
【カレー煮込うどん】1230円(税込)
麺は通常のカレーうどんと異なり、味噌煮込みうどんと同様の煮込麺専用麺を使用しているとのこと。
若鯱家のカレーうどんは結構あっさり上品ですが、こちらの『カレー煮込うどん』は味噌煮込みうどんのスープがベースだからか、更に濃厚で奥深い味わい。
個人的に通常のカレーうどんよりも、今回食べた『カレー煮込うどん』方が好みという結果でした。
