Before going to Yamada Onsen in Minami Ward, I came to Hamatei Hoshizaki. The restaurant is located next to the gas station after turning left at the Hoshizaki intersection on National Route 1. The name of the restaurant is Hamatei, so I thought it was run by a Japanese person, but it is a mainland Chinese restaurant and Chinese is being spoken all over the place. I ordered Ramen and fried rice set meal for 1,133 yen from the many set menus. I chose Ramen Taiwanese Ramen. The main Taiwanese Ramen contains Taiwanese minced meat, chives, and red chili peppers. The soup is a soy sauce flavor based on chicken bones. It is light, the red chili peppers are refreshing, and it is moderately spicy and delicious. The noodles are medium-thick and slightly curly, with a chewy texture that is really good. The fried rice contains pork fillets, ham, eggs, and green onions, and is not very fluffy, but is just delicious. The fried chicken is cut in half to make it easier to eat. It is crispy and delicious. It also comes with a salad, which is a nice touch. The almond jelly at the end was delicious and had a tight seal. Thank you for the meal!
