I've been to Suwaya's Dankei branch before, but this is my first visit. The interior has been completely transformed from the old but dignified appearance from the outside, to a modern design. As soon as you enter the entrance, Tempura is fried right in front of you, which is very appetizing. I chose Tempura and zaru soba from the lunch menu. The freshly fried Tempura is light because of the good oil. The soba is also delicious. The person who came with me ordered Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) and warm soba set, and he kept saying how delicious the soba was, and Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) was topped with lots of freshly fried Tempura and a small portion of rice, so it was just the right amount and he finished it all. I'll try Ten-don (tempura rice bowl) next time. There seems to be about 10 parking spaces a little away from the store, so you don't have to worry even if there are no spaces available underneath the store.
