愛知県名古屋市守山区幸心にある新京 守山店にお伺いしました。JR中央本線 新守山駅から徒歩約10分で、電車からアクセスしやすいです。自動車でも店の前に3台、隣の焼肉店と共用で6台の共有の駐車場があるため便利です。
今回はベトコンラーメン（800円）を注文しました。新京発祥のベトコンラーメンはご当地ラーメンとして約50年愛されている新京の自慢のラーメンです。もやし、にら、にんにく、唐辛子が入っています。唐辛子は抜くこともできて、辛さは調整することもできます。初めての方には、辛さうすめがお勧めとのことです。スープは鶏ガラと豚骨のうま味が詰まった醤油味で、一味でアクセントが付けられている辛うまの逸品ラーメンです。
ベトコンラーメンとは、1969年創業の中華料理店 新京 先代店主が生み出した看板メニューになります。ベトコンラーメンとは、ベストコンディションラーメンの略です。愛知県一宮市で生まれて、そこから名古屋から全国へと広まっていきました。元気になるラーメンを食べてもらいたいと考えて、メニューとして出せるように考案して完成したのが現在のベストコンディションラーメンです。ベトコンラーメンを食べて元気に笑顔になって頂きたく初代店主が考案したスタミナバッチリのラーメンです。
