Free refills on plain naan and rice! Authentic Indian Cuisine
10 minutes walk from Shin-Moriyama Station on the JR conventional line. This restaurant specializes in Indian Curry and Nepalese Cuisine, with unlimited refills of plain naan and rice. You can change |
The location is Moriyama Ward. Arrived a little early during lunch time on a holiday. No customers. I sat down at the table. As you can see, there is a wide selection of Nepalese Cuisine, and the prices are reasonable. Momo (8p) 500 yen, vegetable charmin 500 yen, chicken choira 650 yen, pani puri 400 yen, chatpad, sukti, thukpa, sekwa... even kaja set and dido set. What I wanted to eat was Dal Bhat (Nepal set meal). So, I ordered the ★Nepali Kana Set for 950 yen (the curry was chicken and extremely spicy). Immediately after I ordered, the salad was brought to me. After waiting for 10 minutes, Dal Bhat arrived on a golden circular plate.・The rice is a mix of Japanese rice and basmati rice. It's not a problem, but I personally prefer it with a little less water content.・Dal (bean soup), thick. Contains large pieces of garlic. The dal also added spiciness.・Chicken curry is not Nepali curry, but Indian Curry eaten with naan at Innepa restaurant. Chicken is soft.・I liked the green beans (mung beans?) in the achar (pickles) and tarkari (stir-fried vegetables). Achar makes crunching noises in his mouth. Both are made with a rich variety of ingredients such as carrots, green peppers, and daikon radish.・Saag (stir-fried spinach), chutney (red sauce), papad (bean Senbei (rice crackers)) Eat these curries and side dishes mixed with rice. Achar is also delicious when mixed with dal or chicken curry. Yogurt is added towards the end to give it a mellow taste. While I was eating while watching TV, a group of Nepalese customers came to the restaurant. They also order dal bhat. At times like this, for some reason my hand unconsciously moves the spoon faster. There was only one Japanese person in the store. Almost Nepal. Since it's Dal Bhat, I personally feel that a chicken curry that is similar to Nepalese soup would be ideal. Is it "almost" Nepali Dal Bhat at the moment? At the cash register, I received a flyer offering 5% off lunch and 10% off dinner. I would like to order various items from the a la carte menu. Dannebird. Thank you for the meal.
