After leaving ROCK ON CITY, we went to BIZ, a Japanese and Western creative Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located on the 1st floor of Kamiyama Apartment. It's close to the last train and it's the third one, so it's quick. As you enter the store, there is a counter on the left, and on the right there are 3 semi-private tatami tables. We were shown to the horigotatsu seats at the very front. Look at the menu. Although it is called a creative Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), I don't feel that there is much creativity in the menu. From today's recommended menu, we ordered assorted sashimi, homemade salted squid, and corn Tempura. Since it's sashimi, the alcohol is sake. The first one is Hakkaisan. The lineup of assorted sashimi includes red bluefin tuna, squid, striped horse mackerel, and flounder. A very luxurious lineup. The tuna was said to be lean, but it was more of a medium-fatty part. It's quite delicious! The striped horse mackerel, wild flounder, and high quality fish are also delicious. Plus homemade salted squid. Sake progresses. Second glass of sake around here! This is Kuheiji. Even though I don't have much time until the last train, I end up drinking. LOL So, the corn Tempura also arrived. This is the biggest hit! The corn is peeled like Katsura peeling and made into Tempura. This is my first time! The Tempura has an outstanding sweetness from the corn! Not only did it look great, but it also tasted great.
