In Ise city... Ise Jingu Geku Offering Market edition. The Geku Offering Market is held every spring and autumn. This was the 28th time. I had received a flyer in advance, so I checked it and it seemed like there were fewer participating companies than usual. However, there were some companies participating for the first time this year. So, I gathered information as I always do (^^)/ I visited on a Saturday just before lunchtime. Parking would be a hassle if I went by car, so I walked. When I entered the venue, it was already full of customers!! There were many foreigners this time, so it felt festive. There were dances and songs on stage, but I was only interested in the exhibitors (>_<) So I headed to this booth, which was participating for the first time. I quickly checked the items available among the customers in line and was sure it was this shop (^^♪ When my turn came I chose the "Kuribo Special Fried Chicken @500". There were many pieces of fried chicken lined up on a pallet in front of me, but they put the freshly made chicken in a cup for me. I promptly went to the rest area to try a taste (^^♪ "[b:Kuribo Special Fried Chicken]"... 3 pieces of fried chicken in a paper cup. They are a little large. They are freshly fried and piping hot!! When I took a bite, there was a lot of skin, and it was soft and juicy. The seasoning was garlic, pepper and salt. It was the kind of thing that goes well with alcohol. I think 500 for this is a bit expensive, but I guess that's about right for an event??
