西尾張中央道を名四バイパスから南に1㎞程行った所にあるとんかつ店です。民家のようなお店の周りに20台分程の駐車場があります。
平日の12時半に店に入ると待ち客があり、記名して待つとそれほど待たずに二人掛けのテーブル席に案内されます。
店内には奥に座敷席もありますが、それ程広い店内ではなく、街のトンカツ店的な広さです。
他の客はほぼランチを注文されていますが折角なので、松阪豚が使われる「特選ロースかつ定食」を注文。ご飯は大盛無料でキャベツはおかわり自由です。
先にキャベツが運ばれますが、おとなしく待ちます。その間、周りを窺うと、場所が場所だけに作業着姿の方がほとんど。そう言う自分も作業着ではありますが、待つこと15分で注文の品が運ばれます。
さすがは150gのことだけあって厚みがあり、お勧めはお塩と言うことなので、準備しようと器を開けると、そこには本格的な荒い岩塩が入っています。
早速、少し付けて頂くと、しっかりした歯応えがある脂身からはジュワっと脂が溢れ、お肉にも歯応えがあります。
次にお肉だけで頂くと、しっとりとした肉質ではありませんが味は良く、カットされたすべてに脂身が付いているので、好きな方には良いかも知れません。
先に出されたキャベツは、シャキシャキとしていて味も良く、ご飯は良い米が使われ、しっとりと炊かれ、味噌汁も良い塩梅です。
最後の楽しみにとっておいたポテサラは、ジャガイモの食感が残るよう荒く潰されており、マヨはかなり少な目で、芋自体の美味しさも控え目でした。
会計すると1870円。後で見直すと隅に書いてありましたが、メニューは税別表示でした。しかし、概ね、美味しいとんかつの定食でした。
ごちそうさまでした。
