お邪魔したのは昼だったが、店内の照明は控え目で、落ち着きのあるムード。
壁際の席がやや座りにくいのだけがちょっと残念。
ランチのセットはサラダかスープがつく。（ランチメニューは月～土）
ナンは食べ放題だが、ライスを選ぶとおかわりなし。
７種類のランチセットからＡセットのチキンカレーを注文した。
チキンカレー・ダールカレー(各750円)ベジタブルカレー・チキンサグ(各850円)
ビーフカレー・シーフードカレー(各950円)
もう１種類は日替わりカレー、この日はキーマカレー(750円)
辛さは０～５の６段階。
１(普通)でお願いしたが、さほど辛いもの好きではない私でも物足りない。
辛さの表現が店により異なるのは不便だが、
仕方がないことなので店ごとに覚えるしかないか。
香りやコクは十分、カレーの味自体には満足できた。量がちょっと少ないかな。
ナンに大きな特徴がある。
薄目でふんわりとしていて、非常にさっくりした感触が楽しい。
焼きたては特にサクサク。少し甘めで、ナンだけばりばり食べてもおいしい。
残りが1/3ぐらいになったところで、おかわりを勧めてくれる。
焼くのに少し時間がかかるのと、
焼きたてが熱すぎて素手で触れないのを計算に入れてのことだろう。
それにしても終始にこやかで、気遣いが細やかなサービスは大変気持ちがよい。
次回はぜひタンドール料理を試してみたい。スープカレーも興味をそそる。
またインド料理屋には珍しいカレーうどんもある。
これも次回以降の楽しみにとっておこう。
店の前に共同の駐車場がある。
